Choose chapter

You are following the Slow Read, which begins with the Prologue on Saturday 10 October and reads a chapter a week. Read ahead? Choose the last chapter you have finished. The site hides anything from a chapter you have not reached; this is proof of reading, never of buying, and a library copy counts.

About the Desk Games

Small errands at the Hotel's desk, the one about the size of a rowboat. Each opens at seven in the evening, your time, and then stays open. Nothing here is timed, and nothing here is sold.

Free, with or without an account. If you are signed in, finishing an errand adds to your rank; nothing else is kept about how you played.
