Reporting a problem on this site
If something on this site, or something someone has said to you about it, worries you, use the Report this link beside it, or Report a problem. You don’t need an account. You can also write to hello@dreamscapecode.com.
If you tell us someone may be in danger, a person sees it within 15 minutes, at any hour. We cannot send help ourselves: if someone is in danger right now, call the emergency services first.
Everything else is read by a trained person, usually within a few hours. How we decide, and how to appeal, is on how moderation works.
What our moderators can and cannot do
Our moderators keep the site’s spaces safe and kind. They are not counsellors, doctors or therapists, and they cannot give professional help. If you need that kind of support, the help lines above can.
Moderators never contact you first, never ask for personal details, and never ask for money.
The Bureau never messages you first
Nobody from this site will send you a direct message, phone you, or ask for money or personal details, in character or out of it. If someone claiming to be from the Bureau, the Hotel or this site contacts you, it is not us. Please report it to hello@dreamscapecode.com.
The story and real life
Dreamscape Code is about a woman searching for her missing husband through dreams. It is fiction. Nothing on this site suggests that people who have died or gone missing can be reached through dreams, or in any other way.
Rest is never a failure here. Nothing on the site rewards staying up late, skipping meals or losing sleep, and nothing unlocks between 10pm and 7am your time.
If parts of the novel are hard to read because of your own life, Cruse, Sands and Missing People, listed above, can help.
