Using this site costs nothing, and its core will stay that way. If you would like to help, there are two ways to pay. Each costs £3.00.

Neither one buys rank, votes, hints, a say in the story or any advantage. Not paying changes nothing about what you can read, solve or make here.

The Guest Book

£3.00

  • Your name, as you give it, is added to the Code online and printed in the ebook appendix of the next Dreamscape Code novel.
  • The first 3,000 names also go in the endpapers of that novel’s special edition. That is a physical limit of the paper, stated before you buy, not a countdown.
  • Refundable in full, for any reason, until your name is delivered. Until then we keep Guest Book money separate from everything else.
  • A person reads every name before it is printed. We will refund, not print, a name that is abusive or belongs to someone who has not agreed to it.

Letters, spaces, hyphens and apostrophes, up to 60 characters. It does not have to be your full name.

Support the site

£3.00

  • A contribution to the cost of running this site: hosting, moderation and the people who make its art and audio.
  • You get our thanks and nothing else. No reward, no badge, no rank.

How paying works

Payments go through Stripe. You type your card details on Stripe’s page, not ours, and we never see your card number.

Stripe emails you a receipt. The price is the whole price: nothing is added at checkout. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected by anything here: see the terms and privacy.
